What does an ink ribbon do, and when do you need one?
An ink ribbon is essential for dot matrix printers, which are still widely used for carbon forms, invoices and documents where several copies are needed at once. When your ink ribbon runs out or becomes worn, the print becomes lighter and less legible. This Kores ink ribbon ensures your dot matrix printer delivers sharp, dark prints once again.

Why this nylon ink ribbon is the right choice
This nylon ink ribbon has been specially developed as an alternative to original Epson ribbons and offers a cost-effective solution without any loss of quality. Nylon ribbons have the advantage of lasting longer than cotton variants and delivering consistent print quality throughout their entire lifespan. The black ribbon is suitable for standard text and numbers.

Reliable compatibility with many printer models
The ribbon is compatible with a wide range of dot matrix printers, including the Epson LQ series (LQ670, LQ680, LQ680Pro, LQ2550) and EX series (EX800, EX1000, EX2500). Swintec printers such as the SP3624C and SP3624DX are also supported, as well as various Unisys models. This broad compatibility makes it a versatile choice for offices with different printer types.

Practical installation tip for optimal use
When replacing the ink ribbon, make sure the printer is switched off and check that the ribbon is properly tensioned in the ribbon cartridge. You can use the reference number G642NYS to be certain you order the correct replacement ribbon for future orders.
