What does a printer ribbon do and when do you need one?
A printer ribbon is essential for dot matrix printers to print text and numbers onto paper. You need a new ribbon when the print from your current ribbon fades, becomes streaky or disappears altogether. This happens because the ink in the nylon material runs out through repeated use.

Why choose this specific ribbon?
This Kores printer ribbon has been specially developed for the Mannesmann Tally T2030 and T2240 printer models. The exact fit and compatibility prevent malfunctions and give you optimal print quality. The nylon material ensures a long service life and consistent ink release during the printing process.

Advantages of nylon as ribbon material
Nylon printer ribbons are known for their durability and reliability. The material holds the ink well and releases it gradually, resulting in clear and legible prints. Moreover, a nylon ribbon lasts longer than cheaper alternatives, so you ultimately save money.

Practical installation tip
Always check the exact type of your printer before purchase by looking at the rating plate or in the manual. For the Mannesmann Tally T2030 and T2240, the OEM reference is A110NYS, which corresponds to this Kores ribbon. Make sure the printer is switched off when replacing the ribbon and follow the instructions in your printer manual for correct installation.
