This round watercolour brush with a fine point gives you precision in every brushstroke. The nickel-plated brass ferrule holds its shape well, so you can paint with pleasure for years.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a watercolour brush?
A watercolour brush is indispensable for working with watercolour paint and other water-based techniques. You need this brush when you want to create detailed watercolour work, where you need control over paint and water intake. The round shape with a very fine tip makes this brush suitable for both washes and precise detail work.
Why choose size 16?
This size 16 watercolour brush offers an ideal balance between detail capability and paint-holding capacity. With its round shape and very fine tip, you can paint broader areas as well as switch to fine lines and details without changing brushes. This makes the brush versatile for various watercolour techniques.
Gold-coloured synthetic fibres as a choice
This Van Gogh brush is fitted with gold-coloured synthetic fibres that have been specially developed for watercolour work. Synthetic fibres offer consistent performance and are more durable than natural hair, while still providing the necessary flexibility and paint retention for watercolour techniques. The gold-coloured fibres retain their shape well and are easy to clean.
Practical details for everyday use
The brush has a round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule that holds the fibres firmly in place and prevents rust formation. The short, glossy lacquered handle gives you good control while painting and sits comfortably in the hand. Always rinse the brush thoroughly with clean water after use and let it dry flat to preserve the very fine tip.
