Precision at your fingertips with this Van Gogh watercolour brush. The fine point gives you control for detailed work, while the seamless nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures durable use.
When do you choose this product?
When do you need a round watercolour brush?
A round watercolour brush is indispensable for watercolour techniques where you want to create both fine details and flowing lines. You use this type of brush for applying watercolour paint, where the round shape allows for versatile stroke movements. This brush is ideal when you are working on landscapes, portraits or botanical illustrations where precision matters.
Why size 20 is the right choice
Size 20 offers you an excellent balance between detail and coverage. With this medium-sized brush you can fill broader areas and switch to finer lines by adjusting the pressure. The very fine tip makes it possible to add small details without constantly having to change brushes.
Golden synthetic fibres for consistent results
The golden synthetic fibres of this brush give you predictable results with every stroke. Synthetic hairs retain their shape well and are less susceptible to damage than natural hairs. They absorb water evenly and release the paint in a controlled way, which is essential for watercolour techniques.
Practical details that make the difference
The round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule ensures the hairs stay firmly in place and do not come loose during use. The short, glossy lacquered handle gives you good control over your brushwork and sits comfortably in the hand. Store the brush lying flat or hanging to protect the fine tip.
