Professional watercolour brush with a fine point for precise details and smooth paint transitions. The synthetic hair holds a lot of water and retains its shape, perfect for watercolour and aquarelle techniques.
When do you choose this product?
What does this watercolour brush do?
A watercolour brush is indispensable for painting with watercolour paint. You use it to apply paint, mix colours and work out details. This round brush from Royal Talens, from the Van Gogh series, is specially developed for watercolour techniques, where you work with transparent paint layers and smooth colour transitions.
Why choose size 10 and a round shape?
Size 10 is a versatile medium-sized brush that is suitable for both larger areas and detailed work. The round shape with a very fine tip gives you control over different line thicknesses: when you turn the brush while painting, you effortlessly switch between broad strokes and precise details. This makes the brush ideal for various watercolour techniques within a single painting.
Synthetic bristles offer reliable performance
This brush has gold-coloured synthetic bristles specially developed for watercolour paint. Synthetic bristles hold their shape well and are more durable than natural hair. They take up enough water and paint for smooth application, while the very fine tip means you can also work out small details without the tip splaying.
Practical details for long-term use
The brush has a round, seamlessly nickel-plated brass ferrule that holds the bristles firmly in place. The short, glossy lacquered handle gives you good control while painting. Always clean the brush with clean water after use and let it dry flat to keep the tip in shape.
