When do you choose artist-quality colouring pencils?
POLYCHROMOS colouring pencils are specifically developed for artists who want to achieve professional results. You choose this type of colouring pencil when you are working on artworks, illustrations or detailed drawings where colour precision and the durability of the final result are crucial. These pencils are ideal for both beginning and experienced artists who want to refine their techniques.

Why the round shape with a 3.8 mm lead is my choice
The round shape of this colouring pencil sits comfortably in your hand and prevents the pencil from rolling off your worktable. With a lead thickness of 3.8 mm, you get a good balance between precision for detailed work and the ability to colour in larger areas. The lead is also break-resistant, which means you have less trouble with snapping points while drawing.

Erasable and waterproof properties
This POLYCHROMOS colouring pencil is both erasable and waterproof, which is an important feature for artworks that need to last. Your drawing will not fade from moisture or accidental contact, and you cannot erase it once the colour has been applied. This makes the pencil suitable for final artworks where you want to be certain of the result.

Practical specifications for your workspace
With a length of 176 mm, this colouring pencil has a standard size that fits well in your hand and lasts a long time. The colour "omber natuur" (colour code 180) is a warm, natural brown tint that combines excellently with other earthy colours and is widely used for shadows and natural elements in artworks.
