When do you need a high-quality colouring pencil?
If you are working on art projects where colour accuracy and durability are essential, then a colouring pencil such as this POLYCHROMOS is the right choice. This type of pencil is specifically designed for artists who want to achieve professional results. You can use it for drawings, illustrations and mixed techniques where you need consistent colour rendering.

Why choose oil pastel core technology?
This colouring pencil contains an oil pastel core that ensures rich colour release and smooth application. The oil base makes the pencil lightfast and waterproof, which means your work is resistant to moisture and the colours will not fade on accidental contact with water. This gives you the assurance that your artwork retains its quality over time.

Advantages of the 3.8 mm core diameter
With a core diameter of 3.8 mm, you get a good balance between precision and colour coverage. This thickness is ideal for both detailed work and filling larger areas. The core is break-resistant, meaning it is fracture-resistant and less likely to snap during use, even under firmer pressure.

Practical considerations for use
This pencil has a length of 176 mm and is colour 168 (yellowish green earth). Please note that POLYCHROMOS pencils are part of an extensive colour range, so you can combine this specific shade with other colours from the same line for optimal colour blending and consistency in your artwork.
