When do you need professional colouring pencils?
Colouring pencils are indispensable for artists working on detailed drawings, illustrations or colourful designs. Whether you are a beginning artist or an experienced professional, the right colouring pencils make all the difference in the look and durability of your artwork.

Why choose this 3.8 mm thick lead?
This Faber-Castell Polychromos has a 3.8 mm thick lead, which strikes a good balance between precision and coverage. You can draw fine details as well as colour in larger areas without the point wearing down quickly. The round shape sits comfortably in your hand during extended use.

Benefits of the oil pastel lead
This colouring pencil has an oil pastel lead that is smudge-proof and waterproof. This means your colours will not run when they come into contact with water or moisture, and your drawing will not accidentally smudge while you work. The lead is also break-resistant, so you are less likely to encounter broken points during intensive use.

Practical details for artists
With a total length of 176 mm, this pencil has a standard size that is easy to handle. The colour code 225 refers to the specific dark red shade in the Faber-Castell system. These colouring pencils are specially developed for artists and offer the colour intensity and durability you need for professional results.
