What does this coloured pencil do and when do you need it?
This Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencil has been specially developed for artists who create professional drawings. The oil pastel core ensures rich pigmentation and smooth colour release, allowing you to achieve detailed work and artistic projects that require high colour quality.

Why choose this burnt sienna colour?
Burnt sienna (colour number 283) is a warm, earthy brown tone that is indispensable for portraits, landscapes and nature studies. This colour provides the perfect foundation for skin tones, tree trunks and other natural elements in your artwork.

Reliable properties for long-term use
This coloured pencil is erasable and water-resistant, meaning your colours will not fade or run when exposed to moisture. The break-resistant oil pastel core, with a thickness of 3.8 mm, prevents the lead from breaking during intensive use, even during detailed work under pressure.

Practical details for optimal use
The pencil has a length of 176 mm and a round shape, providing a comfortable grip during long drawing sessions. It is best to store this coloured pencil in a dry environment and sharpen it with a quality sharpener to keep the tip sharp. The oil pastel core allows you to apply various techniques, from fine lines to broad areas of colour.
