What does this coloured pencil do and when do you need it?
This Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencil has been specially developed for artists who want to draw and colour professionally. The oil pastel core produces rich, saturated colours that are perfectly suited to detailed artwork, illustrations and professional drawings. You choose this pencil when you value colour intensity and durability in your artwork.

Why Cadmium Orange Dark is the right choice
Cadmium Orange Dark is a warm, intense colour that is essential in every artist's palette. This particular shade offers the perfect balance between orange and red, allowing you to create beautiful sunsets, autumn leaves and warm skin tones. The colour has colour code 115, which is important if you want to combine it with other Polychromos pencils.

Benefits of the oil pastel core
The oil pastel core, 3.8 mm thick, makes this pencil particularly versatile. The core is break-resistant, so you suffer less from breaking points while drawing. Moreover, the colours are erasable and waterproof, which means your work won't smudge or run when it comes into contact with moisture.

Practical features for everyday use
At a length of 176 mm, this round pencil sits comfortably in the hand during longer drawing sessions. The round shape gives you more control over your lines and shading techniques. If you work with several Polychromos colours, you can easily identify them by the colour code 115 printed on the pencil.
