What is this colour pencil used for, and when do you need it?
This Faber-Castell POLYCHROMOS colour pencil has been specially developed for artists who work with professional drawing materials. You need this pencil when you are working on fine detail, want to create shadow effects, or are looking for neutral grey tones for your artwork.

Why choose the colour Cool Grey IV?
Cool Grey IV gives you a specific shade of grey that is essential for creating depth and contrast in drawings. This neutral colour works excellently as a base colour for shadows and helps you create realistic transitions between light and dark areas in your artwork.

The benefits of the oil-based crayon core
This pencil has an oil-based crayon core with a diameter of 3.8 mm, allowing you to draw both fine lines and broad areas. The core is smudge-proof and water-resistant, which means your drawing will not run when exposed to moisture and the colours will not wear away through friction. Moreover, the core is break-resistant, so your pencil will last longer.

Practical details for optimal use
With a length of 176 mm, this pencil sits comfortably in your hand for extended drawing sessions. The hexagonal shape ensures that the pencil will not roll off your drawing table and gives you a stable grip while you work. Thanks to its professional composition, this pencil is suitable for a variety of paper types and techniques.
