What does this coloured pencil do?
The Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencil has been specially developed for artists who want to achieve professional results. This pencil has an oil-based core that is suitable for detailed drawing, shading and colour blending. Thanks to its special composition, you can draw precise lines and create subtle colour transitions.

Why choose this light green colour?
Colour code 171 gives you a specific light green shade that is essential for natural subjects such as landscapes, leaves and botanical studies. This colour forms a good base for building up green tones and combines excellently with other colours from the Polychromos range for realistic colour mixing.

Advantages of the oil-based core
The oil-based core, with a thickness of 3.8 mm, delivers rich colour and is at the same time break-resistant. The pencil is erasable and waterproof, which means your work will not run or fade when it comes into contact with moisture. This makes it suitable for permanent artworks that stay beautiful for a long time.

Practical features for artists
With a length of 176 mm, this round pencil sits comfortably in the hand during longer drawing sessions. The round profile gives you more control over pressure than a hexagonal pencil. The hard oil-based core wears down slowly, so you can work for longer without having to sharpen again. Store your Polychromos pencils lying flat in a box to prevent damage to the tip.
