When do you use professional colouring pencils?
As an artist or illustrator, you need colouring pencils that resist pressure marks and water. This Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil has been specially developed for artists working on drawings where precision and durability are essential. The oil-based core delivers rich colour without the worry of unwanted smudges.

Why choose Warm Grey II?
Warm Grey II is an essential colour for creating shadows and transitions in your artworks. This particular grey shade has a warm undertone that pairs perfectly with skin tones and natural materials. You can use this colour as a base for portraits or to add depth to landscape drawings.

What makes the oil-based core special?
The 3.8 mm oil-based core ensures smooth colour application and is also break-resistant. This means you can apply more pressure without the core breaking, which is especially handy for detailed work. The pencil is also erasable and water-resistant, so your drawings retain their quality for a long time.

Practical features for everyday use
With an overall length of 176 mm, this pencil sits comfortably in your hand during long drawing sessions. The round design provides a natural grip. You can recognise this pencil by colour code 271, which is useful when topping up your stock or matching it with other Polychromos colours in your collection.
