When do you need a special skin tone pencil?
If you create portraits, figure studies or illustrations where realistic skin tones matter, a specific coloured pencil for light skin tones is indispensable. This Polychromos in colour 132 gives you exactly the right base for natural-looking skin without having to mix colours.

Why choose an oil pastel lead?
This pencil has a break-resistant oil pastel lead 3.8 mm thick, allowing you to create both fine details and broader areas. The oil base ensures rich pigment release and smooth colour transitions, which is essential for realistic skin tones where subtle transitions are crucial.

Benefit of erasable and waterproof properties
The lead is both erasable and waterproof, which means your colour stays where you put it. This gives you control over your work and prevents unwanted bleeding or fading, especially important in detailed portrait work where precision is required.

Practical tip for artists
With a length of 176 mm and a round shape, this pencil sits comfortably in your hand during longer drawing sessions. The Faber-Castell Polychromos range is specifically developed for artists, so you can easily combine this pencil with other colours from the same line for consistent results in your artwork.
