What does this product do?
The Faber-Castell Polychromos colour pencil has been specially developed for artists who want to achieve professional results. This artist's pencil delivers rich, intense colours that you can use for detailed drawing, illustrations and artistic projects where precision matters.

Why choose this 3.8 mm variant?
With a lead thickness of 3.8 mm, this pencil offers the ideal balance between fine details and areas of colour. The thick core lets you make both thin lines and broader strokes, depending on how you hold the pencil. Thanks to its round shape, the pencil sits comfortably in your hand during long drawing sessions.

Durability that makes a difference
This colour pencil has a break-resistant oil-based core that wears down less quickly than ordinary colour pencils. The core is also smudge-resistant and waterproof, which means your colours won't fade or run if they come into contact with moisture. This makes the pencil suitable for techniques where you apply several layers.

Practical tip for use
The pencil has an overall length of 176 mm, so you can work with it for a long time before it gets too short. The colour code 219 stands for scarlet dark red – note this number if you later want to reorder exactly the same colour. Store your Polychromos pencils lying down in a pencil case to protect the tips.
